Built around the structure of a dragonfly wing, this composition observes how lightness is sustained through precision. What appears delicate is in fact a highly efficient frame, where each fine division helps distribute force across a fragile surface designed for movement.
The palette remains grounded and quietly energetic, with warm clay, muted terracotta, softened umber and mineral grey creating a sense of contained warmth and structural clarity.
In compact 14 momme silk twill, the surface brings greater definition to the illustration, allowing the fine architecture of the composition to remain crisp. The 50×50 format wears as a precise accent — close at the neck, tied at the wrist, or folded into the hair — where glimpses of the structure emerge through clean, sculptural folds.
