THE JOURNEY OF A QEIWA SCARF
Each Qeiwa scarf travels a long and careful path before it finds its new home.
At every stage of this journey, we aim to work thoughtfully — choosing processes that feel responsible,
considered and true to the spirit of the brand.
Everything begins with a sketch.
Line by line, an illustration slowly unfolds, allowing the design to take its final shape.
This stage is never rushed:
working on a single drawing may take several weeks,
as the image grows into something ready to be translated into silk.

Once the illustration is complete, it is sent to a historic silk workshop in China —
the homeland of silk itself.
There, traditional expertise meets our original designs.
The patterns are printed on high-grade pure silk using eco-certified inks,
preserving the delicacy of the lines and the depth of the palette.
Each scarf is finished with a hand-rolled hem —
a subtle detail that gives the piece its refined, finished character.

The scarves then arrive at our studio in Bulgaria.
Here, every scarf is carefully inspected and prepared for shipping.
We have recently transitioned to eco-certified, fully recyclable packaging.
While our first collection is still shipped in its original packaging,
all new scarves are now packed using this updated, more sustainable approach —
a small but conscious step in the direction we choose to follow.

Before shipping, every scarf is gently wrapped in additional protective paper,
ensuring it reaches its new home safely — exactly as it was intended to be received.
What begins as a single line becomes silk, movement, and presence —
ready to live on, beyond our hands.
